Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Care / Advanced Care Caregiver to provide hands-on support for seniors and adults with disabilities. This role involves assisting with personal care tasks, mobility support, and other essential daily activities to ensure comfort, dignity, and safety in the home environment.

Your Responsibilities:

Provide friendly companionship and emotional support
Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation
Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation
Offer reminders for medications or appointments
Encourage independence and maintain a safe environment
Build trusting relationships with clients and families
Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Provide safe transfer assistance using gait belts and Hoyer lifts
Support bed-bound clients with repositioning and hygiene care
Help with mobility and fall prevention
Monitor and report changes in client condition
Follow individualized care plans and safety protocols

Qualifications:

Experience in personal care or advanced caregiving required
Familiarity with gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and bed-bound care
Compassionate, reliable, and attentive to detail
Ability to lift, bend, and assist with physical tasks
Must pass a background check
CNA or HHA certification preferred (but not always required)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
